The aim of this WP is to provide the internal project management and the overall co-ordination of activities, financial- and technical- planning and control. It ensures that the project objectives are met and represents the contact point of the project to the Commission, the IST community and the external world. It provides guidance for the process of registering IPR, especially in cases where joint ownership is involved.

This workpackage has following objectives:

• Analyse current QoS solutions and define user/application requirements and business scenarios
• Define the NETQOS framework and the prototype system architecture
• Define and develop the policies and the mapping of requirements into those policies
• Define and develop modules for policy adaptation
• Develop an advanced graphical user interface and a measurement database repository

The objectives of this work package are

• Define, setup and execute trial for selected business scenarios in order to demonstrate the facilities of the developed components with focus on heterogeneous networks and Ipv6
• Plan integration and test procedures
• Integrate the NETQOS architecture prototypes and test the interactions of its components
• Develop user manual and installation guide for the NETQOS system
• Integrate performance monitoring, measurement and assessment tools for system evaluation and validation
• Evaluate and assess QoS delivery based on policy specifications using quantitative and qualitative measurements
• Evaluate and validate the NETQOS architecture using selected scenarios in operational Internet environment

The objectives of this work package are

• Disseminate the scientific and technical results of the project by publications at conferences and workshops, IST events, journals, etc. and to increase the awareness that QoS support is needed for demanding applications.
• Participation in concertation and cluster meetings
• Maintaining a project web server to provide information about the project to third parties as well as to support the communication within the project.
• Contribute to standardisation activities such as IETF and ETSI.
• Facilitate exploitation of results among the partners
